APPROVAL TO DISCHARGE TREATED WASTEWATER IN TO THE CANALS MAINTAIN BY SLLDC
Steps to Follow
Collect the application by contacting Wetland Management Division (Tel: 011 2 884 806) or download from SLLDC website
Submit duly filled application to SLLDC head office.
The applicant must provide all the particulars requested in the application form and submit with all supporting documents.
The applicant should submit approvals from Local Authority, Department of Irrigation, Department of Agrarian Development, Central Environmental Authority etc. where necessary.
SLLDC will review application and conduct site inspections as required.
If approved, the applicant will be informed on the Licence fee and inspection fee to be paid.
Upon receipt of the payment, the approval with conditions is issued with the signature of the authorized signatory.
Validity of the approval is for the period of one year.
Renewal of the Approval:
A request to renew the approval to be submitted by the Applicant two months before expiring of the approval. Any changes/ modifications made to the details submitted at the first stage to be clearly mentioned in the request
